The Embassy of Italy in Asmara is the only EU post to issue Visas Schengen.L'Ambasciata releases for Italy all types of Schengen visas and national. On the basis of representation agreements, the Embassy also issues short-term Schengen visas (up to 90 days), type "C", for the following countries: Germany, Sweden, Malta, France, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Slovakia and Finland.
