BURLINGTON, Vt. —A woman who was reported missing before she was supposed
to compete Monday in the Green Mountain stage race in Burlington has been
found safe.
Yohana Dawit, 23, was reported missing at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
A group organizer said Tuesday morning that Dawit's cousin told them she
has been found safe.
Dawit is from Eritrea, Africa, and does not speak English.
Police were aware of the situation.
