On February 12 2016 the CBC Fifth Estate of the Canadian Broadcasting corporation broadcasted the following documentary targeting the Eritrean mining industry, Eritrea's economy, people and government . A documentary that wants to ignore the achievements and recognition of Eritrea's mining industry in corporate social responsibility opts to go into a different direction, against the interests of Eritrea as nation and by ignoring the majority of Eritrean Canadians. The CBC report opted not to include any voice of the wider Eritrean Canadian representation in Canada and follow a one sided biased position.

In 2012 similar documents like the following one have been creating rumors and ground for inquiries in the Corporate Social Responsibility of Canadian Mining companies.

The CBC has not been in Eritrea and has not consulted major available stakeholders in Canada either . While talking about refugees It has opted to ignore the large Eritrean Canadian Community and it's representatives and look for non clearly identified confirmed refugees inside Ethiopia. His sources are clearly selected sources that play anti-government PR and harming Eritrea's economy while ignoring the large Eritrean Diaspora. Witnesses come from arch foe territory inside from Ethiopia's territory with unconfirmed identity.
While there is repeated reassurance that Corporate Social responsibility has been implemented the documentary maintains a biased direction and possibly coordinated with the network pushing towards the COI inquiry and clearly pushing Ethiopia's agenda to target Eritrea economically and the failed UN sanctions .
A full response was given by Nevsun ,Eritrean Government, Canadian parliamentary subcommittee on International Human Rights The Canadian Ambassador to Eritrea, The US embassy in Eritrea given .
What are the motives of CBC fifth Estate. Was there a genuine intention to include the views of all stakeholders of use a politically biased direction. Who is directing this time the Canadian media. Matt Bryden was even removed from his position at the SEMG as politically biased and remains (as CBC a reliable source of accurate information?)
What is the timing about . How come the loss of life of hundreds of Oromos is not a priority of human rights in the region and the CBC team was allowed to travel to northern Ethiopia but not to Oromia?
Why the CBC crue is directed t to the North of Ethiopia when the south of Ethiopia's is littered with dying students on the streets of Oromia .Is the timing about fear mongering ( al Shabab when the security council is empty handed with no more accusations to direct to Eritrea)
While advocating for refugees , why there is a concrete effort to create more pull factors for youth by harming Eritrea' economy , in order to harm the young generation in Eritrea and possible create more economic migrants
