Asmara, September 11 2015 – The Sudanese ‘Al-besir’ medical team carried out eye surgeries on 395 patients at Grar hospital in the port city of Massawa.
According to Dr. Alem Zekarias, head of blindness control in the Health Ministry, the program by the Sudanese team is rendering vital contributions in controlling blindness as well as in the promotion of exchange of best practices.
The Sudanese ‘Al-besir’ medical team is conducting such services for the 12th time in Eritrea.
