(MENAFN - Qatar News Agency) (QNA) - Qatar's embassies and diplomatic missions abroad have continued celebrations to mark the National Day of the State of Qatar which falls on December 18 every year to commemorate the founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani.
In Asmara HE Qatar's Ambassador Mohammed bin Rashid Al Humaidi hosted a reception to celebrate Qatar's National Day.
President of Eritrea Isaias Afwerki attended the ceremony and entrusted the Qatari Ambassador with his greetings to HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HH the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani wishing the State of Qatar and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity.
The ceremony was also attended by a number of ministers senior officials heads of the diplomatic missions accredited in the country and prominent figures.
