Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani being received by President
Isaias Afewerki of Eritrea upon his arrival in Asmara, yesterday.
Asmara: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met President Isaias
Afewerki of Eritrea at the presidential palace in Asmara yesterday
afternoon.
They reviewed relations between both countries, ways of developing
them in various fields and regional and international issues of common
interest. Later, Afewerki hosted a luncheon in honour of the Emir and
his delegation.
The Emir and his delegation were received at Asmara International
Airport upon their arrival, by Afwerki. Ministers, Qatari Ambassador
to Eritrea Mohamed Rashid Al Humaidi and Qatari embassy staff were
present. In the afternoon, the Emir left Asmara. Emir and his
delegation were seen off at Asmara international airport by Afewerki,
ministers, Al Humaidi and Qatari embassy staff.
