The entire Eritrean community in the Pacific Northwest corner has pulled it off in making this one of the best entertainment and musical extravaganzas we have seen yet. In short, the renowned Helen Meles and her accompanying crew of talented musicians, Habtom Fessehaye (Enquiee) Sami Ghnbot, Dawit Tesfamariam,Tedros Tewelde and Mike Alazar are prepared to impress upon their audience a long lasting memory that is sure to linger on for a long time!
With such capable actors, it is no wonder we have been receiving accolades and expressions of gratitude and support with much anticipation!
Remember the unique and joyful “ዋርሳይ” youth show that has won admiration every Independence Day event at the Volunteer Park for the last several years! Guess what? The youthful and reinvigorated warsai team and their capable mentor are able, ready and willing to do it, once again, to the delight of the cheering audience!
As if not to be outdone, a team of parents will also get into the mix by singing and dancing the classic “ተሓምበለ”, a sight you wouldn’t want to miss! The cheerful mood will be accentuated by the availability of food and beverages as well as a children’s entertainment corner.
So, come one and come all and bring your friends and acquaintances and be prepared to be impressed. Seattle is gearing up for the 24th Eritrean Independence celebrations as never before.
