Exhibition to be staged in Kutmia area depicting culture, history and
sacrifices
paid for independence

Massawa, 02 February 2015 – The extensive preparations being made by
Ministries, the Northern Red Sea regional Administration and the general
public to colorfully mark the Silver Jubilee of Operation Fenkil, attests
to the significance of the momentous event.

An Erina reporter said that an exhibition depicting cultural values of the
Eritrean people and the tools employed by the freedom fighters, along with
the immense sacrifices paid for independence would feature at Kutmia area
as part of the various programs organized by different bodies.

Amna Ahmed Mahmud, freedom fighter who organized the exhibition, stated
that it demanded persistent effort and expressed conviction that it would
win visitors’ admiration.

She further stressed the need for exerting due effort on the part of
citizens towards bequeathing the nation’s values to the young generation.
