Saskatoon Canada, 24 May 2014- Eritrean community members in Saskatoon and
its environs, celebrated the 23rd Independence Day anniversary on 24 May
under the theme “We Toil Today for a Better Future”.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman of the Eritrean community in
Saskatoon said that the external conspiracies waged against the Homeland to
deter the development drive in the country have been foiled by the staunch
resistance of the Eritrean people, and called for strengthening
organization and the staunch resistance.
Further, the chairman of the community conveyed satisfaction with the
manner independence day is being by nationals all over the world, restated
the satisfaction Government of Eritrea, the national inside working hard
day and night along with EDF and the pace of development is a proofing
fact, In addition the participants of the 23rd independence event in
Saskatoon affirmed staunch resistance against anti-Eritrea scheme agendas,
in connection 23rd anniversary vowed commitment to live up to the nation’s
