Sunday May 11, 2014 - YPFDJ Toronto with collaboration ENHOC hosted a
seminar for the Eritrean Community in the city of Toronto, Canada with
special guest speaker Sophia Tesfamariam. The seminar had a packed house
and was standing room only by the end of the event. The seminar was also
attended by the Eritrean Community in the city of Winnipeg through live
video conference. Ms. Tesfamariam gave the audience a lecture on the
current history of Eritrea and its history, Identity, the psychological
warfare against Eritrea and its diasporas, and human trafficking. The
seminar was followed by question period from the audience. Ms. Tesfamariam
enlightened and entertained the audience with comical and fruitless
attempts at destabilizing Eritrea and the unity of its magnificent people,
by various interests.
The Eritrean Community in Toronto was further strengthened in its resolve
and its commitment to Eritrea and its development efforts. The seminar was
then followed by an update by the Toronto Consulate office, Mr. Ahmed Iman
Head, Consular Affairs on the details of the new Eritrean ID. It was
concluded with a moment of silence for Eritrea’s Martyrs.
