A Yemenia Airbus A330-200, registration 7O-ADP performing flight IY-630
from Sana'a (Yemen) to Asmara (Eritrea), landed on Asmara's runway 07 and
slowed safely. While turning around at the end of the runway to taxi to the
apron the nose and left main gear went off the paved surface of the runway
receiving damage disabling the aircraft.

Asmara Airport was closed (no NOTAMs available) as result until early May
1st 2014, when the aircraft was repaired and removed from the runway.

7O-ADP positioned back to Yemen on May 1st and resumed service afterwards.
