High-level Eritrean delegation headed by Foreign Minister Osman Saleh
conducts meetings with Russian officials

21 February 2014 - The high-level Eritrean delegation headed by Foreign
Minister Osman Saleh that arrived in Moscow on the 16th of this month held
meetings with Russian officials and conducted discussion as regards
fostering bilateral relations and regional as well as international issues
of mutual interest.
At a meeting it conducted last Tuesday, the delegation extensively exchanged
views with the Russian Vice Chairman of the International Affairs Committee
in Parliament DUMA, Mr. Alexandr Romanovich, focusing on ways and means of
furthering bilateral ties in all domains. In the course of the meeting, Mr.
Romanovich asserted readiness to do its level best towards promoting
relations of partnership between both countries in the domains of

Speaking at a meeting he conducted with Mr. Valery Pak, Vice Minister of
Natural Resource and Environment as well as Head of Federal Institute of

Russian Ministry of Economic Development also took part; Mr. Osman Saleh
gave briefings regarding Eritrea's natural resources, especially in

Moreover, the high-level Eritrean delegation met the Russian Vice Minister
of Education and Science, Mr. Benjamin Kaganov, and discussed the potential
ground for partnership between both countries in the spheres of education,
science and culture. In the course of the discussion, the Ministry of
Education and Science of the Russian Federation expressed readiness to
collaborate with the Eritrean Ministry of Education.
