My heart felt condelence to the family of the respected, Eritrean patriot
and dear friend the late Dr. Ephrem Tecle!
I really am shocked and sadden about the untimely death of the respected
compatriot and friend Dr. Ephrem Tecle. I want to explain you, why I write
late on his death. Since late September 2013 up to January 2014, I was not
present in my home and where I was, I was almost out of any outside
connection i.e. (Internet). Around the end of 2013, a friend of mine
borrowed me a mobile phone with Internet entry and I noticed that Dehai had
stopped to function. As I came back home, it was the same. I even tried to
send news to Dehai-News without success. Then, my brother told me that
somebody from Dehai members with higher position has died. But, he couldn't
tell me a specific name. I was very worried, but never thought that person
was indeed Dr. Ephrem Tecle. After that occasion, I did want to call Dr.
Ehprem on personal/Dehai affairs and have tried to find out his phone number
in Google. What I have seen there was very shocking and I couldn't believe
it at that moment. It was the death announcement of the respected and friend
of mine Dr. Ephrem Tecle. I was/am very sad, speechless and angry on the
young age death of Dr. Ephrem Tecle.
I was a member of the first and historic Dehai Eritrean Forum since almost
my final University student time (1997). I had never meet Dr. Ephrem Tecle
personally. But, I had a chance to know him through Dehai worked and
communicated with him (via phone call & E-mail) on Dehai matters frequently.
He was very polite, intelligent Eritrean patriot and a real friend.
I convey my heart felt condolence to the respected family of the late Dr.
Ephrem Tecle in particular and the Dehai Family/Eritrean friends in general.
I really will miss him sadly. Rest in Peace, dear friend!
Dear Dehai Members and Eritreans, let us continue to work and promote the
legacy of the great son of Eritrea Dr. Ephrem's work further.
