The Eritrean Community in Sandiego, California and the mass organization.
To: The family of Veteran fighter, minister Woldenkiel Gebremariam Gebrekidan, members of the PFDJ,and the people of Eritrea. On behalf of The Eritrean community and mass organization in Sandiego would like to convey our profound condolences to the family, and to the people of Eritrea. Minister woldenkiel G/Mariam Gebrekidan doesn't have any regrets in his life, because he had accomplished his dreams, the independence of Eritrea. He had suffered enough when he was a student in Asmara high school because of his vision about Eritrea and its people. I know minister Woldenkiel personally because he was my mentor at my young age.Minister Woldenkiel was raised among his parents, brothers and he can have any materialistic he wants when he was a student and even for further studies abroad but minister Woldenkiel chose the people of Eritrea over his family. He started Eritrean struggle at the young age. Minister Woldenkiel was a good Role model as a civilian as well as when he was a fighter. Minister Woldenkiel will be remembered forever for serving the people of Eritrea the right way. He is not a loss, his history is still alive. Long live the glory of our great martyr's.
