Heavy machineries and buses arrive in the country
Massawa, 27 May 2013 – A number of heavy machineries and modern buses arrived in the port city of Massawa with a view to reinforcing land transport service and facilitating implementation of development programs.
The buses would be used for urban and rural transportation purposes, while the machineries would be dispatched in the ongoing development activities such as construction of roads, bridges, water diversion canals and other infrastructure facilities, as well as strategic ventures in connection with food security and the like.
Reports indicate that such investment by the government constitutes a turning point towards a significant move as regards national endeavors towards ensuring social justice and national development.
It is to be recalled that buses and machineries of this type have been arriving in the Homeland since December 2011.
