Hello
"Eriam" or "Eritreans for Obama" or whatever you call
yourself. Thank you for your response, even though you attempted to score a
cheap political victory by parroting Obama's rhetoric and accuse me of
"shoot first before aiming his target." Nice try!!!
Make up
your mind. Are you "Eritreans for Obama" or "Eriam" because
you can't be both unless you have other agenda. I know about "Eritreans
for Obama" and all the good work they have done doing the past
Presidential election rallying behind Obama's "Change we can believe"
campaign. Actually this group was instrumental in bringing the late Congressman
Donald Payne in 2008 to address the Eritrean-American community in the Washington-Virginia-Maryland
area on behalf of the then-candidate Barack Obama at the Howard University.
"Eritreans for Obama" has exercised its right to endorse Obama as a
candidate and also has the right to endorse him now for his second term. I have
no problem with that because this is a group of Eritrean-American who support
Obama, period.
But when
someone comes up with a devious name, such as "Eriam" and writes an
official document that states: Eriam has been following both
Mitt Romney and Barack Obama campaigns with emphases on issues which concern
the State of Eritrea in general and, Eritrean American citizens in particular
and concludes that .....
I will have a problem. And my problem is that whoever you are "Eriam," please do not use the State of Eritera or its citizens for your own political ambitions So again, who are you? Just tell me who you are before saying "Haile Abraham needs to be reminded that pre-judging a candidate is part of the election process. In Eriam's views, Mitt Romney is a failure and President Obama is a winner. Just mark Eriam's word for that judgment day on November 6, 2012" Haile A. ============================================================// ==========================================

At the outset, Eriam is grateful for Haile
Abrahams response to RE:
President Barack Obama .
With due
respect, Haile appears to shoot first before aiming his target.
He grants
Eriam the right to express its political views, while condemning
and
accusing Eriam for acting against the wishes of all of us. Eriam did
not
act against any one community in USA in as much as those who opened a
Facebook page -Eritrean for Obama, that is, using a social media, to
endorse and campaign for President Obama by sharing ones view on the
Candidate with Facebook register voters.
In America, there are many
ethnic groups, such as Greek-Americans and
Eritrean Americans. Each and
every one of these Ethnic-American communities
has individual members who
live and work or study in any city, any county
and any state in America.
They are part of the American melting pot.
Accordingly,
individuals are
required to register to vote where they work/study or
reside. Candidate for
city, county, state, congress, senate and *the
President* address the
individual/community by appearing before their
audiences in pizzerias, town
halls, sports stadium etc. Voters choose the
best candidate who addresses
their concerns. Voting is a
responsibility. Voting
a right that every
citizen ought to exercise.
Haile Abraham needs to be reminded that
pre-judging a candidate is part of
the election process. In Eriams views,
Mitt Romney is a failure and
President Obama is a winner. Just mark Eriams
word for that judgment day
on November 6, 2012.
