My name is Araia Tesfamariam and my father was from Eritrea. He died 3
months before I was born and My mother, who is African-American, and I
spent years trying to find his family. We finally did find them, and now I
am going to Eritrea for the first time this July. I am filming a
documentary about my trip and have created a new website
