Dear Eritrean

There are people who believe on wealth, power and knowledge to be the
ultimate desire or destiny for their happiness. Happiness does not end by
obtaining wealth, power or knowledge.

Even though knowledge, wealth and power comes through hard work but it is
not the end destiny of happiness but the beginning of seen the fruit of your
success. We should use it to help other to educate, help other to create
jobs and give other freedom to improve the living condition by providing them
and allowing them needs to improve better so the society lives longer and
healthier. A Prosperous country believes on helping its people to be
creative in starting business. There is a Chinese pro verb goes like this.
"If you do not smile, do not open a store." This means you are not a
business person. If a person wants to start business we have to welcome them
and we needs to welcome with open arm and big smile. Those business people
are coming to invest their money and create jobs for the society. In fact we
need to encourage them by allowing them to pay lower taxes.

We need to find ways what we can do attract more Eritrean business to come
invest in our society and it is important that we need to ask our self what
we can do that will expedite and run according their plan.

In order to know a society, it is vital to understand the mentality and how
our mentality effects our decision. Once we understand our mentality we need
to try balance it.

Our society tent to think in term of group virtue. (awet nihafash) It will
be nice as well if our society encourages individual ingenuity where we can
help ourselves and become self-reliance while as whole country becomes
self-support.

The reason we have knowledge, wealth, and power is help each other to become
wiser, healthier, and happier. If we are not happy, it is not because we do
not have many, knowledge or power.

Finding other ways to attracts Eritrean investors. There is Eritrean who
has not been paying their two percent for whatever reason. In order to get
any services we are requiring them to pay it in full before we can give them
any kind of paper work or services. I believe that we need to be a little
flexible on this kind of case. We all have to pay our two percent but we
have allowed them to spread it over five year or ten year payment and allow
them to pay certain portion of what ever due. This way more people will be
paying two percent in the future.

If I am wealthier, wiser, or decision maker, I am able to help not only
myself, my family, my community and my country as whole. We should encourage
individual to start business so they can create jobs to our cities of
Eritrea.

I would like to see change to come gradually not at once and any kind of
change. Instead to try to change totally, we should try to find ways to
improve it by improvising law or policy. In other words we should not try to
shock or disrupt what is already working.

Finally I would like to say that in any society there are citizen who are
responsible and there also who are not. There are also rich and poor as well
wise and fool. We should always encourage those who are responsible
citizens. Moreover, we should follow the golden rule. Try to treat others as
you would want them to treat you.
