Unwelcome and meddlesome intruders in Dehai must be firmly told to mind their own business and/or buzz off

These are wise words from the great African writer Chinua Achebe in his novel ARROW of GOD. The arrogance of the worst in white people is astounding, to say the least. You tell them, "Please leave us alone, we can manage our own affairs, at our own pace. We have our own culture and way of doing things." And they tell you, "Oh, don't worry, we will help you run your country. In fact, we are so generous we will think for you. We will bring our own system, and design and implement it for you. You don't have to do anything. You don't have to worry about anything. Just let us handle things for you at no cost to you." When you politely but firmly tell them, "Thanks, but no thanks, we will manage our own affairs with our own resources at our own pace," they act offended and insult you
back and call you ungrateful and undiplomatic just for minding your own business and wanting to run your own life the way you want it. They preach freedom, but would not want you to have that freedom.
Surely, though it is not good to generalize on a whole multitude of people's general racial character, the white man must be the most hypocritical and meddlesome of all human species on this earth. People like Beverley Frogge, Christian Glausinger, Dan Connell, Michaela Wrong are a living witness of that. This must be a deeply ingrained trait inherited from centuries of white supremacist philosophy and practice. The tragedy of it all is that white people have also this tremendous capacity for systematic self-denial of their arrogant and hegemonic attitudes and acts against other races. Even those among them who are supposed to be the most enlightened and conscious have a way of suppressing and denying their racist attitudes so they can feel righteous and completely free of guilt. Christian Glausinger’s latest series of postings justifying his unjustifiable and shameful conduct proves this beyond a shadow of doubt. It is futile to argue with this
fellow who is the first to throw insults and then when he is treated in the same way as he treats others, he cries foul, throws a childish tantrum and starts self-righteously lecturing others to discuss issues! His sheer arrogance and tremendous capacity for ignorance is simply amazing.
So, I will say this as nicely and politely as I can to our German guest. Chrischi, why don't you leave us alone and buzz off!
