(1) The French are definitely up to something. Good thinking, you say.
(2) The French aren't demanding that Eritrea remove its troops from Ras
Doumeira
because it is in Eritrea's interest. Forget it. Not a chance.
(3) The French aren't asking Ethiopia to remove its troops from Badme since
the UN
has resolved that land belongs to Eritrea. Forget it. Not a chance.
(4) The French are trying to keep Eritrea busy in Djibouti and deny it
having its full deck of
cards free at its disposal as Ethiopia's troops leave Somalia. It is
possible.
(5) The French aren't that crazy to think that Eritrea will remove its
troops from its
sovereign land because a toothless and enemy-of-Eritrea body demanded
it. Well, who
knows? Sarkozy might still have some vodka left from his last trip to
Moscow on the
the Georgian conflict.
(6) The France of Nicolas Sarkozy is closely allied with Israel and the USA.
It is very
possible that he might be playing the US card until the Obama
administration
gets settled down. And with respect to the Israel invasion of Gaza and
the sympathies of
Iran with the plight of the Palestinian people, the French may also
bought the Iran-Eritrea
mumbo jumbo in Assab. It is possible.
(7) Are the French trying to trying to deflect Eritrea's attention from
something that the Woyane
might be contemplating? May be. But Eritrea has been through many such
machinations.
(8) Just simply the US doesn't wish to see Eritrea over celebrate Jendayi
Frazer's exit from
Eritrean politics.
