Somalia: Former MP - Kenya Has a Hidden Agenda On the Juba Regions.

By Sh.m.network,

29 May 2013

Mogadishu- - Suleiman Mohamed Ibrahim who was a member of the transitional
federal parliament talking to Shabelle radio in Mogadishu said that Kenya
has a hidden political agenda in the Juba regions.

Mr. Suleiman added that Kenya wants to grab the Juba regions and was
interested in controlling the port city of Kismayu.

The former Mp accused the Raskamboni militia for facilitating the Kenyan
interest and they were clearly pretending to serve the interest of the
Somali people.

Mr. Suleiman urged the federal government to take a major step and replace
the Kenyan peacekeepers with the sierra Leon troops. He also urged the Mps
who are currently proposing a motion against the Kenyan peacekeeper to
jointly continue their mission for the sake of the people and avoid an
invasion.

The Kenyan troops have faced the strongest oppositions from highly ranked
political individuals and top government officials for causing confusion in
the Juba regions most notably Kismayu. The Burundi and Uganda troops have
been welcomed gratefully and face no hostilities from the members of public
unlike the Kenyan troops.
